The project focuses on migration not as an abstract “crisis”, but as a lived experience shaped by waiting, uncertainty, care, exhaustion and survival.

Through documentary photography, I sought to make visible the human impact of Europe’s border policies while protecting the dignity of the people portrayed.

The images move between presence and absence: bodies resting, gestures of care, temporary shelters, shared routines and the quiet resilience that persists in hostile conditions.
