my work
I am a journalist, filmmaker, photographer and digital storyteller working at the intersection of human rights, memory and visual communication. My work explores how power shapes people’s lives, and how stories can help us understand harm without reducing people to it.
Across film, photography, cross-border collaborative journalism and social media management, I combine research, testimony, visual storytelling, strategic communication and advocacy to create work that is careful, accessible and emotionally precise. I am interested in stories that hold complexity: violence and resistance, grief and dignity, injustice and collective action.
My practice is rooted in documentary methods, human rights principles and a belief that storytelling can help people see, remember and respond.

Documentary photography on migration, border violence and everyday dignity in the Balkan route.
The project focuses on migration not as an abstract “crisis”, but as a lived experience shaped by waiting, uncertainty, care, exhaustion and survival.

santa en las calles
Santa en las Calles is a yearly solidarity initiative in Caracas that brings gifts, food, clothes and joy to children and older people in vulnerable communities. Documented the event in 2018, 2019 and 2023, showing the encounters, gestures of care and collective effort behind the day.
Latin American migrant women in Europe often face violence, isolation, and institutional neglect. In response, they build networks of care and solidarity that become spaces of refuge, resistance, and survival. Mariana’s story shows how even a beauty salon can change everything.
Cliente anteriorAfter spending an entire lifetime between Venezuela and Spain, migrating to Europe changed everything. It is not the same to belong to two places as it is to have to choose one over the other.
This regional investigation explores the housing crisis in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on young people, women, and LGBTI+ communities. It combines data, legal analysis, and stories from across the region to show how difficult it has become to access safe, dignified, and affordable housing.
